My recent stay at a charming cottage in the bush was absolutely delightful! The room was beautifully decorated and offered a stunning view of the surrounding nature. The host, Annie, went above and beyond to ensure that I felt welcomed and taken care of throughout my stay. The meals cooked by Walther were absolutely delicious, making it feel like I was dining in a top-notch restaurant. Phindy also provided excellent service with a smile. Annie even arranged a memorable game drive and bush walk for me, adding to the overall amazing experience. The location of the cottage allowed for sightings of giraffes, zebras, buffalos, and other mammals, and I even spotted elephants right by the safety fence. I had a 5-star experience and highly recommend this hidden gem in the bush.
Although it would have been convenient to have a dustbin in the room, towel rails near the bathtub, and a mirror close to a power point for hair and makeup, these minor inconveniences did not dampen my overall wonderful stay at the cottage.

Our stay at the lodge was amazing! We got great value for our money with a beautifully furnished cottage, spacious rooms, and a lovely patio. The location was perfect, surrounded by natural bush and animals. The staff treated us so well, they were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Hotel breakfast could have been better, with more variety and options to choose from.

We recently stayed at Kingfisher Creek for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The room was stunning with a beautiful view of the bush. The food, cooked by Walther, was delicious and felt like dining in a high-end restaurant. Phindy provided excellent service with a smile. However, the standout was Annie, who went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. She gave us great tips and recommendations, arranged a wonderful game drive and bush walk, and was the best host we've ever had. We can't recommend this hotel enough.
We can recommend this hotel.

We had an amazing stay at this lodge. The staff were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and attentive. They went above and beyond to make our stay as great as possible. The room was clean, comfortable, and cozy, and the pool was sparkling clean. The communal areas were always spotlessly neat. The location was perfect, with a beautiful view of the surrounding bush. We could even see animals from the Kruger at the fence. The hotel facilities were complete, and the breakfast prepared by the chef was the best we had during our stay in South Africa. The staff were knowledgeable about the area and gave us great advice on how to plan our day.
Nothings.

We enjoyed it so much and would have loved to stay longer than just one night. Annie, the owner, is so nice and helpful - she answered all our questions and even booked a game drive for us very spontaneously. The clean self-catering cottage is beautiful and well decorated, and the great fire place and terrace are perfect to relax. The food in the beautiful restaurant was one of the best I ever ate.
Totally recommend this hotel.

Had an amazing Christmas getaway! Loved the quiet location with wildlife right outside the fence. The comfortable beds and daily housekeeping were a bonus. The beautiful boma area for BBQs and fires was a highlight. Hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay.
No washing machine available, which would have been useful for longer stays.

The staff were kind and welcoming on arrival, providing a complimentary bottle of wine with a delicious stew. The location offered a serene and peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by the beauty of nature. The room was comfortable and clean, with a beautiful view of the bushlands.
Additionally, the off-road journey to reach the property was quite long and the recommendation of a 4x4 is definitely advised.

Our thanksgiving vacation was a delight. the isolated location of the lodge set the stage for a true getaway. the fireplace and luxurious amenities offered an indulgent experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. the guided game drive was a highlight, as we were able to see some of the most impressive wildlife in the area. the bed was undoubtedly the comfiest we slept in during our entire trip!
There were some minor inconveniences, one being the drive to the lodge, which was quite slow. the roads leading up to the lodge were quite treacherous.

Located in the heart of a private reserve, this lodge offers a truly unforgettable experience. The adventure of getting to the lodge was exhilarating. Additionally, the accommodation was perfect, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
While the lodge exceeded expectations in many ways, there were a few minor issues. The shower was a bit temperamental, and it would have been nice to have a coffee/cappuccino machine available.

Nestled in the serene bush, we enjoyed an unforgettable restaurant experience with a starry sky above. We were close to various sites, and Kruger Park was a short drive away. the clean, well-designed rooms ensured a comfortable stay. the breakfast was delicious, and the staff's attentiveness was excellent. We loved using the beautiful boma area for evening braais.
The lack of a washing machine in our accommodation.

The lodge is located in a stunning nature reserve, perfect for nature lovers looking for a remote location that still offers comfort. The staff was very hospitable and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable during our stay. The fully equipped cottage was a highlight, with everything you need for a self-catering stay.
Getting to the lodge takes a while, and the gate entrance to the nature reserve closes at night, so if you're planning on going out in the evenings, this might not be the ideal location for you. However, this was a minor inconvenience and did not detract from the overall beauty and comfort of our stay at the lodge.
